Weigh-In Wednesday – The Uniqueness of You

I learned in time, that’s just how it is, and I need to have patience with myself, more than patience with others. In those times when you’re stopped worrying about it, and start focusing on other things, amazing people come into your life. When you’re forcing it, less than amazing people come into your life.

Just my two-cents of my old age wisdom. Picture me peeling an apple and eating slices off the blade of my pocket knife while sitting in a porch rocker while telling you this. It might make more of an impact.

A straw hat, and denim overalls are also nice additions.

Weigh-In Wednesday – Closing Out 2018

The concept of that things will change based on a random location of the Earth in its orbit around the Sun seems kind of silly, doesn’t it? Aside from financial expectations created by the government, and banking institutions, what truly changes on January 1st? Not much. So don’t look for resolutions here. I’m going to continue on my personal growth paths, and do my best to keep myself in line with what I am trying to achieve.

Friday Writing Challenge, Again

There’s no such thing as an undamaged person, but to understand someone else’s damage, to understand what they need, and to understand who you need to be in order to not add to that damage takes effort. A lot of effort. Effort that very few people are willing to put into a relationship.

This is really complicated. But it isn’t about who is damaging who, or what damage we all have. We have to start putting more effort into understanding ourselves, having patience with each other, and recognizing the things that truly matter in our world. There’s no one right answer, or easy answer, or magic pill.

This Made Me Laugh

Funny blog article about WHY YOU SUCK AT RELATIONSHIPS BASED ON YOUR ZODIAC SIGN.

For Libra:

Libra
(September 23rd to October 22nd)

It’s not that you suck at relationships, it’s that everyone else sucks at relationships.

Seriously. You’re totally out of place in the cold-hearted world of modern dating. You genuinely care about people and want to form relationships with them. You’re not interested in commitment just for the sake of commitment, but it’s hard to find someone who isn’t scared off by wanting something real. You’ll stop sucking when everyone else wises up (or you find another Libra to get with).

I'm sorry. I had to laugh. I'm not sure if I've read anything based on my Zodiac sign before that is this fucking accurate.

People have a lot of sex in the cold months of winter... why haven't I met more Libras?
