For Christmas this past year I had the opportunity to pick up a Nikon D50 from my friend Bob Hubbard. My son Evan has shown a strong interest for photography since he was very young, so I figured this would make a nice starter camera, and a Christmas gift he would appreciate.

He immediately started filling his memory card.
