Like most artists, I look forward to the day I die
And someone discovers what I have done
All the works that I have created arise
And suddenly I'm worth something, to someone

Self Realization
I believe I recognized at the gym last night, working out for me is metaphorically like trying to pound a pork loin into becoming a filet mignon.
I think the best I'll ever get is thick cut bacon...
Sometimes I just want to be someone else... *sigh*
A Paradox of Paradoxes
Paradoxes naturally exist any time we deal in absolutes.
Life is rarely, ever an absolute. The improbabilities that exist in infinite probabilities are also infinite.
Never, and always, should almost never be spoken.
Similarities?
Rika and I sigh similarly, so I was told.
Makes sense. We're both grumbly creatures, whom are mostly unwanted by others, and are now stuck with each other...
Just Leaving This Here
Bad photography and red eyes makes baby Jesus cry.
Realization
In speaking with my girlfriend tonight, I think I came to a realization within myself...
I live through my photography, and my writing, and my art... the things I create. And I always want them to be breathtaking. Not just nice, or good... but breathtaking. It means so much to my heart when people enjoy my creations, and it is soul crushing when the things I create go largely unnoticed.
Which, is most often the case, really.
But why?
I think I now know why.
I create to bring beauty into the world. To show the beauty that I see. To express the beauty I feel inside of me. I want people to see this beauty, to recognize it and appreciate it.
So few people see any beauty in what or who I am. I’m replacing it with what I can give. With what is inside.
Sobering recognition.
Photography Lessons
Sometimes unique camera angles can add an artistic flair to an image.
But when you're just a couple degrees off level, it just looks sloppy. Learn how to level your camera, and use the straightening tool to correct for levels where necessary.
Just a little photography 101 for you....
You Are Cosmic
Have you ever known someone who has looked at the Moon and said it is ugly?
The Moon is the light in the darkness.
A beacon. Stability.
It is revered, worshiped, and humans have sought to touch it for centuries.
But, without the Sun, the Moon’s power would not be seen.
Likewise, you hold a unique beauty of your own. Your soul holds the energy of both the Sun and the Moon.
You shine a light so bright that it helps others on their path in this life, and you reflect their light back to them, allowing them to see how brightly their own light shines.
Think About It
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Red and Blue represent each end of the spectrum of visible light
Long wavelengths, and short wavelengths,
The diversity of everything that we, as humans, can see.
It’s not a poem about loving someone -
It’s a poem about loving everyone you meet.
Goals
Goals need to feel attainable in order to drive behavior.
So maybe for every person a good goal would be to do less harm tomorrow than they did today.
