Friday Writing Challenge – For What It’s Worth

We set these ideals that we fail to achieve
Expecting of others what we won’t even give
The understanding, and forgiveness
For just being flawed humans
Wanting acceptance
But offering judgement
Demanding passion
But living within our walls
Holding tight to our comfort zones
And later regretting our inaction

Friday Writing Challenge – Crazy Little Thing Called…

When we appreciate the little things: the moments, the kismet, the feelings that fill us even if for a brief point in time, we start to see the unwritten poems all around us. The beauty in our lives. The beauty we sometimes take for granted.

I know I need to do a better job of seeing the beauty, but she helps me with that every day.

Sunflower fields forever

Where Do You Go

We love to play in summer blooms
In fields of green, under a silver moon
With petals so bright
Shinning stars, and sun light
The bluest of skies
Her crystal blue eyes
Warm skin, warm within
A lover’s embrace
Kindness, and grace

But where do you go
When the skies turn to gray
Empty fields where you no longer play
Scattered remains of happier days

Vogon Poetry

I think I'm going to use THIS VOGON POETRY GENERATOR to write all of my poetry for now on.

Look at this masterpiece!

See, see the Troubled sky
Marvel at its big Day-Glow Orange depths.
Tell me, Donald Trump do you
Wonder why the Bernie Sanders ignores you?
Why its foobly stare
makes you feel distraught.
I can tell you, it is
Worried by your scabbrugulins facial growth
That looks like
A Rancid Orange Cheddar Cheese
What's more, it knows
Your pussygrabber potting shed
Smells of money.
Everything under the big Troubled sky
Asks why, why do I even bother?
You only charm Republican Policies.
