When I'm not working on my own projects I am often helping Visual Echoes on her projects. After all, we share the studio space, so I like helping bring her amazing work to life. Whether I'm roping models, wrangling chickens, creating a set based on Japanese art or making a bed fly, there is usually something behind the scenes to work on.
For a recent shoot, I needed to make a painted panel stand so it looked like a solid wall. So, I made it fly. In the pictures, it just looks like a wall. But here, you can see how it hangs and swings.
Of course, I over-did it a bit - using 3/8' eye bolts, heavy rope and 500lb rated eye screws in the ceiling - the safety of our models is always a priority.
