I was looking through some of my older pictures last night. It amazes me how much I have learned about photography over the years. Sure, I took some good shots in the past, but my mistakes... the technical, the framing, the angels... my patience in rushing my work and not necessarily getting the best shot I could... they were more than apparent

Granted many times I was under huge time constraints; fighting vanishing day-light, flight schedules, driving distances all coupled with complete unfamiliarity with the areas I was in.

But I have learned and I am getting better at it.

Learn every day. Sometimes I learn without even being aware that I'm learning. Never assume there isn't anything else you can learn.
